Andrea Lopez-Yianilos, PsyD
Dr. Lopez-Yianilos is licensed in New York and Florida, in addition to being a PSYPACT member. As a native South Floridian with a diverse background, Dr. Lopez-Yianilos focuses on creating a comfortable, respectful, and inviting space for each and every one of her clients. Within this framework of therapy, she warmly and collaboratively encourages clients to discover themselves and explore the relationships with others to work toward living a more satisfying way of life. Mental health is an imperative part of our wellbeing and Dr. Lopez-Yianilos is hopeful about the change of perspective within our society that has started to break down the stigma towards seeking help.
Experience
Following the completion of her doctorate program, Dr. Lopez-Yianilos worked at several hospitals in NYC treating individuals with PTSD, chronic health conditions, anxiety, and sleep disorders. She also spent time working at a health technology startup focusing on providing services to employees of major media companies, financial institutions, and technology companies. Beginning 2021, Dr. Lopez-Yianilos dedicated her career to full-time private practice and consulting, where she prides herself on providing boutique-level service to her clients, all while keeping the integrity of evidence-based psychological treatments.
